He was brought in the 1st team for the 2nd leg of 2013 MCL, where he played a crucial part in all winning matches. His most memorable performance was against G.W.R where he snapped up 7 wickets .His 15 over spell of 7 for 45 earned him the MCL's outstanding bowling performance award.
