Match report The day started wet and dreary although it dried up nicely for a 1.45 start, there was a bit of drizzle soon after tea this however, did not dampen a close but enjoyable victory for the Bridges side. Playing away, the toss was lost to Burnham who decided to bat first, it was a very slow performance the bowling was once again of high standard, although, the same could not be said about some of the fielding by the Bridges side which enable the home team to reach a respectable score of 161/8 (40overs).
The Bridges team started of in a breezy fashion as usual whoever the wickets kept falling at regular interviews causing a continous derailment to the task in hand, in the end it was down one of the senior players Aniq who brought home the victory which included a massive six breaking the pavillion window pane.
Well done lads 2 out of 2, and thanks to the 2 female fans who came to support Bridges team both yesterday and today.
