Match report The JB in JBCC surely could not be "Just Boring" thats certainly what the second half of the game was, a draw was not on the cards, it was a limited overs encounter. The sun was in its ascendency it probably was one of the hottest days of the year so far, with wall to wall sunshine. The skipper tossed, won, very prudently decided to bat.The first 10 overs was rather painstaking to watch, this soon followed by two solid partnership (Hans/Nav & Nav/Angus) which saw Angus score 58 and Navtej 128 runs(well done! "thats my boy"). The score of 266/7 was an imposing total especially for the host, as it seemed they just did not want to play ball. They started off at the rate of 8 runs P.P for the first 4 overs, after the fall of the first wicket the shutters went up. The bowling and the fielding by the bridges team was to a very high standard the specially the new players who all bowled well but at the end it was the Sri lanka duo Shan 2/19 (on debut) and the veteran, cletus 3/43 pulled the rug from under the opposition.
Another Good win by the Bridges team, excellent! 100% thus far!
Ouch! Ouch! that tea was ....... expensive!
