Match report Playing one of the top teams in the league with 9 guys was always going to be a tough task. E3BCC lost the toss and were asked to have a bowl. A steady start by APCC initially appeared that the game was going to be out of reach of E3BCC. However, a committed showing in the field with bowling led by skipper for the next couple of weeks, Larif (5/73) controlled the scoring rate.
The 262 target was always going to be challenging.
Another week where the batsmen did not show up with only Ajit (30) and Larif (40) putting up a resistance.
Though it was a thrashing, there were several positives that should be mentioned.
Excellent captaincy by Larif leading an inexperienced team against the top team in the league and young players stepping up like Ajit's batting and wicket keeping and Darshan's opening bowling were positive signs for the club.
