Ealing 3 Bridges CC Sunday Team v Island Vale on Sun 24 May 2009 at 13.30
Ealing 3 Bridges CC Won by 148 runs
Match report
An Absolute pasting, nay a hiding. The hotest day of the season so far and not a cloud in sight, spectators swelled to at least 50 at one point. The bridges team batted first and Mike made a quick fire 67 in less than a run -a -ball which included 6 towering sixes. There was also valuable contributions from Angus, Antu, Hans and Ken. On paper this time around the position appeared to be a better side than when they played us a few weeks ago, certainly they had youth on their side! I am afraid to say that`s all they had going for them, they were destroyed by Dusty (24/3) and Cletus (12/4)Antu and ken contributed with a wicket a piece.
